Nashville is usually called the "Country Music Capital of the World" or more often "Music City, USA." However, in recent years, Nashville has done much to escape its country music image and become a regional center of culture and commerce.

테네시주의 도시 Nashville 시는 한글로는 내쉬빌 이라고 주로 표기하지만 내슈빌 이라 표기되기도 한다.
Dell, Nissan, GM Motors, Bridgestone, UBS Financial Services, HCA, Community Health Services, Lyft, Google, and Microsoft have all moved some operations to or near the city.

Nashville sits in the middle of a geographic region known as the Nashville Basin. It is surrounded by the Cumberland Highlands and is bordered by the Cumberland Plateau to the east. The Nashville Basin is characterized by rich, fertile farm country and high natural wildlife diversity.

We are pretty sure that the Grand Ole Opry is one of the reasons why Nashville is called the "Country Music Capital of the World." The Grand Ole Opry is a weekly country music stage concert, they also claim that they are the ones that made country music so famous. Johnny Cash was a regular performer on this stage. If you are going to visit Nashville, you should make sure you buy some tickets and enjoy a concert in this very iconic place.

To keep going with the country mood, you need to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum was built inside an impressive and very modern building. They will delight you with exhibitions from singers as Shania Twain, Lynn Anderson, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. Nashville is also notable for line dancing.

You can also go for a tour through the Belmont Mansion. This is an Italian villa with marvelous gardens and a spooky story that include ghosts and the very suspicious death of Adelicia Hayes Franklin's wealthy first husband and children. Some people claim to see the ghost of Adelcia inside the very fancy house. You will stroll through a collection of plants, sculptures, silverware, dishes, furniture, and paintings.

For a little bit of old history and traditional lifestyle, you can visit the Belle Mead Plantation. Founded in 1807 by John Harding, “Belle Meade” translates to mean beautiful meadow in old English and French. Today Belle Meade Plantation retains 34 acres of its original property and several outbuildings including the Mansion and original homestead.  Today’s site functions as an educational resource dedicated to the preservation of Tennessee’s Victorian architecture, history, and equestrian history.

You can also visit:

- AT&T Building. An instantly recognizable downtown Nashville landmark, the AT&T Building, built in 1994 at 333 Commerce Street. Its two tall spires on the building have earned it the nickname, "The Batman Building."
- Midtown Nashville. This place is replete with restaurants, art galleries, and landmark buildings such as the Parthenon in Centennial Park.
- Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. The bridge has recently been converted to a pedestrian bridge and offers a spectacular view of the riverfront and downtown skyline.
- Printer's Alley. Nashville has a strong and historic association with the printing trade. Many religious and secular publications continue to be headquartered in the city.
