The story of Cape Coral started when two brothers from Baltimore had a great idea. Jack and Leonard Rosen where successful real estate developers and purchased the land to make a city model that was organized like no other. With this bright idea on their minds, they started to pave the streets and build houses and business. This clear idea of order and community attracted many celebrities and rich people to the place. 

Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers by two bridges. The place is served by the LeeTran public transit services. LeeTran operates busses Mondays through Saturdays.

If you visit here, you are going to find a pretty sandy beach and a pier filled with fisherman. If you are looking for a little bit of fun in the sun, you'll be pleased to know that Cape Coral is home to the SunSplash Water Park, more than 30 recreational parks, and seven golf courses. You will also enjoy the over 10 Gulf beaches that are within a very close distance. 

There are also many canals here in Cape Coral, they all are connected to the Gulf of Mexico and its paradise beaches. So, visiting Cape Coral is a nice way to visit this famous beaches. The Parks and Recreation Department maintains three public boat-launching facilities. The Gulf of Mexico provides access to smaller tropical islands, rookeries, and sports fishing grounds. So there is not much else to say if you visit this city is because you are a beach kind of person and you will complete your yearly beach quota over here. 

Beaches and beers go along just fine. So if you want to know a bit more about this bubbly yellow drink rather than just drinking it at a bar, you can visit the Cape Coral Brewing Company to join their interesting tours. There is also the Wicked Dolphin Rum Distillery where you can try their award-winning bottles while you enjoy another liquor tour. The place is located just miles from the fertile sugarcane fields of Florida.
