This city was named after its founder, a dentist named David Burbank. 

The Burbank Bus is a low-cost bus system that has multiple routes throughout the city! As with Los Angeles in general, most visitors tend to drive, meaning you may find yourself the only one heading to the bus stop. A train station served by Metrolink is located across from the Burbank Media Center on the other side of the 5 freeway. The Burbank Airport (also known as Bob Hope Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport) serves many domestic destinations (but is not open 24 hours because of noise issues among the surrounding community).

Things to do in Burbank:

The best thing about Burbank is that you can feel like a movie star. You can go to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood to learn about the things that go behind the Hollywood glam. You can explore all the sets that are used to film TV shows like The Big Bang Theory, La La Land, and classics like Gilmore Girls. You will have exclusive access to all the props, costumes, and sets used in all of Warner’s greatest productions. 

Visit the iconic Colony Theater; this place has been standing and offering performances since 1975. They started as a small theater and now they are a well-established, award-winning, nationally recognized company. Check out their plays and you must buy tickets to enjoy one. 

If you want to have a little more adult fun and enjoy the nightlife you can visit several very popular places- Marché Wine Bar, the Castaway, and The Park Bar & Grill are all great options to enjoy a little booze and delight the palate with some local and simple gastronomy.
