* Our tour begins in Madison Square Park, a space that witnessed the birth of the entertainment scene in New York. Here was the first Madison Square Garden, kicking off a new era of entertainment, sports and culture that transformed the city forever.* This iconic space has witnessed protests, markets and celebrations over the years, becoming a key meeting point for New Yorkers. Walk among its unique energy, discover its hidden secrets and feel the history of New York come alive at every turn.
* We'll stop for a bagel and a drink
* We went into Greenwich Village to see some of its important buildings. We will pass Washington Mews, a charming cobblestone street hidden behind Washington Square to learn about its history. Then, in Washington Square Park, we stop in front of the iconic Washington Square Arch, inspired by the Arc de Triomphe of Paris. We’ll talk about its history, the park’s role in New York culture and its bohemian atmosphere filled with musicians and street artists. A perfect stop for photos and to feel the vibrant spirit of Greenwich Village. We will have time for a creative activity!
