* The Hill is St. Louis' "Little Italy" neighborhood. Founded by Italian immigrants in the early 1800's, this neighborhood is the epicenter for Italian culture in the region. On our "Taste of The Hill" tour we will be visiting multiple "mom & pop" restaurants to sample St. Louis style pizza and our world famous Toasted Ravioli. Other stops include a 100 year old salumeria, an Italian bakery, a gelateria, and some other surprises. This tour can be a walking tour or use transportation provided. If walking, please note we will be taking plenty of breaks to rest and indulge in all The Hill has to offer.* The beating heart of The Hill is Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. We will be stopping for pictures and doing some exploring.
* Featuring architectural stonework and fountain imported from Italy, this oasis is perfect for a relaxing break in your day.

Cafe Dolce is a great spot to start our tour. When traveling on Kingshighway southbound from I-44, make an immediate right on Shaw Avenue. Next you will make a left on Marconi and then park close to the intersection of Daggett and Marconi. Cafe Dolce is located at 5143 Daggett Ave.Additional Information
